The Nursery Hospital Brooder 1A and 1B are identical except for size, by adding the solid state controller your combining the best of "no frills" construction with a higher tech temperature control. If you don't want to spend a lot on extra features, yet want totally accurate and dependable temperature control, the Nursery Hospital Brooder 1A or 1B Solid State is a perfect choice.
