PDT 300A Digital Food Thermometer


Our popular food thermometer takes dangerous guesswork out of judging formula temperature. These newer models feature a large LCD display, designer colors, and - one of our favorite features - a magnetic strip on the back allowing storage within easy access (ours stays on the refrigerator) instead of lost in the back of a kitchen drawer. The sensing probe of the 300-A is housed in a protective sleeve that also serves as an extension. Remove the thermometer from the sleeve to use. For best results when measuring liquids, insert at least half of the probe stem into the measured substance.

General Operation:
On/Off: Powers instrument on or off.
Min/Max: Displays the minimum (1^st press) or the maximum (2^nd press) temperature recorded since the thermometer was turned on. The thermometer returns to real-time temperature readings in approximately three seconds.
Hold: Locks the present temperature on the screen while "HOLD" flashes in the corner. Press HOLD again, to resume real time measurement.

The thermometer automatically turns off after approximately one hour to extend battery life.
